Are the Monks and the Tresk unstoppable? But remember - a race must have 8 homeworlds to win! I estimate them to have no more than 4 each.
Certainly, their forces seem insurmountable. Can anything be done?

Only thing that can be done is if the unholy alliance turns against eachother in order to meet the victory conditions. Which will probably never happen (Monks, are you up for a nice little backstab?  I'm just kidding! They are about the most loyal and thrustworthy people around here that I know!), but so be it, both played a very good game, I'm willing to grant them an unofficial alliance win.  (I'm a forgiving or what? )
I certainly don't mind this game ending, my race was supposed to be out off it by now, it's just taking too long.
Maybe afterwards we can have a BBQ at my HW? I'll slaughter some of my finest cows and roast some nice beef! It's certainly the temperature for it!

I've no idea about the Monks. but by my count the tresk have captured HW's at Homer, Telly, Finale & Vacant. Possibly more. Thats at least 5 in tresk hands.

As you would expect, I will not take the bait. No back stabs by me, even if the BOB say otherwise. My attack on him was no backstab 
I would be able to grab enough HW to take the win, but I will allow the Tresks to do that. He has an enormous economy compared to mine, but we do compliment each other very nicely I must say. So, if you want to call the game, and declare the Tresk the winners, by all means do so. We now have only 1 threat to deal with and we are proceeding to do so now.
Until further notice, I will plan on the game continuing and the BBQ is still on!
The Tresks are out of town on vacation, and if I know him, he will want to make some comments.
