That's a nasty narrow window for IT to avoid then!

How often do you stick BBs through 100/250 gates in the first place? Even if you're using your ally's gates, they'll probably be adopting 300/500s by then, and a BB can't weigh enough to hit the equivalent window for those.

Yup, exactly.

Not to mention that IT also have access to infinite mass gates. Infinite/300ly is probably the most common IT gate.

No biggie for any IT who have half a brain. Wink

I didn't say it was a biggy - but that it was a nasty window.

As an IT you expect either ships to arrive (even if almost completely damaged) or to not gate...

I presume the distance code is similar - so there might be a distant colonisation effort that is impossible because there is no 99% damage zone where there should be...

Because your new colonies are totally going to be 1250/1500 ly from the nearest gate. Confused

Actually he's trying to squeeze in a 510kt cloaked bomber though a distant 100/250 gate about 850-1000 lys away...

Doesn't really matter if the ships are damaged to 99%, as long as they live Wink

Yea, that's what we figured. Well, new gates are being ordered, as we speak.
If only ACME INC. delivers them on time...... Very Happy

If only we could go back to the good old days of peace and serenity... <3 !
