I currently object to allowing a player to join two alliances on the grounds that I was considering the same option earlier in the game until I was told that such a arrangement would be in violation of the rules. Also the individual that had previously stated that this arrangement was against the rules now seems to be a proponent of one race having two separate alliances. This seems to me to be interpretation of game rules based on personal interest at the time. I feel this is a fundemental conflict of interest and would offer a unfair advantage to the individual that played both sides of this rule.

How are you to know if your Allie has another race set to friendly or not. Its out of your
control. You could inadvertently become part of a four-way group without knowing it. Being guilty
without fault of your own.
If the rule is that no One race can have more then Two other Races set to Friendly then this
kind of thing can be monitored & players can be held accountable.
Keep in mind that you may only be allowed two allies but that doesn't mean you cant have a
number of NAP's or border agreement, etc.
Maybe at some point in the game we should change the battle settings to included: attack
neutrals. That way everyone has time to figure out which side off the tracks their on.
Just an idea.

I agree
As long as our Host keeps players from having more then two Allies then things should work
themselves out.
Ex: If I'm allied with the Eagles & the Eagles with Combat & Combat with Airny & Airny with
me. We would have a four way group but this wouldn't stop Combat & I (for example) from
going at it. In fact it would prevent the other two from favoring one of the combatants.
I think I'm confusing myself:)
