Robert, ambassador of the Vorlons, sends greetings to the young species of this universe.
Now, as your technology has reached a level to let you explore space, we reveal ourselfs to you. We, the Vorlons, are the remains of an ancient race. We lived here with many other species, very old and powerful, and we all decided to leave and
let the universe belong to the younger races - you.
We were left here to guide you and share our wisdom with the ones who seek it.
We believe in knowledge, order and cooperation.

But we are not alone in this universe - there are the Shadows!
The Shadows try to poison your minds - they want to make you believe in chaos and war, they want to make you fight each other.
Don't listen to the voices!!! dont follow their rules!!!

The Shadows are no real species... They were one, a long time
ago, when we lived together in this universe with the other
old species, before they left...
The Shadows believed in war and destruction, survival of the
fittest, and we believed in cooperation and trade.
Some says the Shadows still live here, but they will most
likely hide and they can be seen as a spirit, a false philosophy.
Some races will most likely warship them and follow their
wisdom, not ours...
But we think that order will win over chaos and destruction,
and the longer a race lives in peace, the better its chances
are to be strong and powerful in the long run.
So dont expect the Shadows to apear in their true form, but
prepare to meet their followers... they will know them when
they cross your borders....
