Hello.
I have the following situation and I am not sure how can I resolve it. There is a wormhole with exits A and B. I have a scout (S) near exit A, which is hunted by enemy skirmishers (ES). The exit B is within the reach of my strike force (SF). Provided that the ES will continue to pursue my S, can I somehow get to them with my SF located near exit B? If I direct my S to the exit A it will enter wormhole and appear at exit B. The same will do ES. But if I send my strike force to the other end of the wormhole (B) it will enter it and appear at exit A, right?
How to prevent it? Do I have to wait another year for ES to appear at exit B and then target ES with my SF?

You have to remember that wormholes may either jump or move during a turn... you may target your attack fleet to "close" to the wormhole exit, but there is no guarantee that the scout will come out close to the exit, especially if the wormhole performs a jump.

I think there is some misunderstanding here...
Please refer to the handy dandy Order OF Events
6. Fleets move (run out of fuel, refuel at bases, hit minefields (fields reduce as they are hit, lowest # fleets hits mines first),
stargate, wormhole travel)
9. Wormhole endpoints jiggle/degrade/jump
So...You can target the exit point of a wormhole, and any ships that move through the wormhole will arrive at that same co-ordinates. The wormhole itself has probably moved from that original position, but the ships will be there.
Hence, in the current situatiuon as described, you can either:
1. Set your scout S to go to wormhole endpoint A co-odinates (Aa), and have SF fleet enter wormhole endpoint B and arrive at the co-ordinates Aa, thus intercepting and destroying ES.
2. The complete opposite will work too, sort of... Set scout S to enter wormhole endpoint A, and it will arrive at endpoint B co-ordinates (Bb). Have SF fleet set to go to Bb co-ordinates. If ES enters the wormhole at A, it will be destroyed by the intercepting SF fleet.
Remember, in the "Fleet Waypoints" dialog box, if it says "Wormhole" as the target, you will travel through the wormhole. If you then right click on the lower right blue diamond, and select "Deep Space", you will go to the wormhole coordinates.
Also, #1 will work if the ES fleet is chasing S. However, I can't remember if the same can be said for #2. IIRC, #2 will not work if ES is targeted on S, as the calculations for intercept do not assume wormhole travel. I believe ES will still try to intercept S, but through normal space...e.g. Scout S pops out of wormhole 300ly away, and ES is chasing via direct route through intervening space.

Yep, IIRC, that's what will happen. Worth testing, just in case.
That's why a thorough hunter will send some ships directly thru the WormHole, and why I suggested sending the reinforcements to meet the beleaguered Scout, if battle is sought.

To be expected. Since only the one targeting the WH could follow you, those targetting you would have taken a straight line to the exit(learned that the hard way).
Just make sure you don't get ambushed going back through the WH.
