If two races are submited on the same machine with the same serial, it's still OK, even if one of those races was previously submited from other machine with other serial?

Yes.
EXCEPTION - IIRC, if your partner sent you a partial turn before leaving, that he started on his machine, and you finish it, it will still trigger the protection. Both turns need to be started, and sent, from the same machine. Best to just use his history file in these cases, and create your own .x file from scratch.

I've also heard (but never tried) that if you have got a partial turn from another machine, open it up, delete the .x file, then save it. That removes the other machine's 'signature', so it's perfectly OK.
