Looking to have game on Auto Host by Early January as to avoid the Xmas season.
Universe
Medium Dense with remapped HW's
12 Players divided in to 4 teams of 3 based on skill level.
Game parameters
Yes Slow Tech Advances
Yes Accelerated BBS
Random Events On
Chaff and Split Fleet Dodge allowed, all other cheats are banned.
All players not on your team must be set to Enemy
May only share tech, intel, and trade with members of own team.
Host will be playing. 3rd party is skoormit who will check race files and remap HW's.
Race Restrictions
Teams can pick only 1 race from each grouping. Once teams are established there will be a 7 to 10 day window to discuss with your teammates race design. I will not be posting players emails on the forum so you will have to PM your teammates in order to get hold of them once list is established.
Group 1: CA, JoAT, IT
Group 2: IS, SD, HE
Group 3: WM, SS, PP
Group 4: AR
Victory goes to Last Team Standing.
Skill level will be determined by number of games play so when you say your in also include the number of game you have played including those still running. I will try to keep the teams as balanced as possible based on this system when making the team.
Skill groups are;
5 or less games played
6 - 11 games played
12+ games played.
A list of teams will be posted prior to race design, any greivances regarding teams must be stated within 72 hours of list being posted.

I am definitely interested, but I agree with oldmetalhead, if the more powerful races are not penalized, then it is certain that each team will contain a CA with TT, and that CA will spend much of their production capability producing OAs. What restrictions will there be, other than the fact that each team can only have one race from each group ?
I have played in 4 games on AH (no victories), and have watched (as non-playing host) 2 games.
I have a suggestion: In addition to taking skill into account when setting up the teams, it might be an idea to take time zones into account, as three teammates who live in the same timezone will find it easier to discuss matters than three teammates who live 8 timezones apart from each other (Europe - Japan - US west coast is one example that would produce that result). I live in Copenhagen, Denmark (CET, GMT+1).
What will the turn generation schedule be like ? With three teammates having to discuss things, 24 hours is definitely too short, but with slow tech advances, the game is going to last a long time.
Med venlig hilsen / Best regards / Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Playing so far
ccmaster (12+)
kaloth (<5)
beanspoon (<5)
Eagle of Fire (<5)
oldmetalhead (<5)
chaosknight (<5)
Xardre (Host, 6 games played)
still room for 5 more players.
Turn gernerations will be 24hrs till 2420 then slowing to Mon, Wed, Fri
I will try to get players on teams in the same time zone only so long as it doesn't lop side the teams.
Edit - Fixed less then signs

I'll join the team of Micha and ccmaster *grin
Just kidding.
As much as I liked it to be called a vet by this bold charmer Xardre, I won't have the time to play... because soon I plan to host Fledging Admirals V. And to play myself in Rheumatic Admirals I which is supposed to follow the settings of the Fledging Admirals serial but is intended for the winners of the previous games plus intermediates or better.
